Look

I’m sorry that I laughed at you

when you were drunk and got sick.

I am sorry that I forgot

why is January 28^th so special,

but it really doesn’t feel like a year.

And all those times I grinned

when you said you looked ugly in this or that

were because I thought:

“So once in a while she’s got it wrong, too”.

I’ve never seen

that ugly side of yours you keep talking about.
